Terms and Conditions

The following terms and condition apply only to those products purchased directly from the Cherner Chair Company. For products purchased through one of our authorized retailers, customers should contact the store directly.

Sales Tax

Cherner Chair does not charge Sales Tax on any orders outside the state of Connecticut. Customer Sales in Connecticut are subject to a 6% sale tax. Customers are expected to comply with their state's current laws regarding purchases made out of state. Trade customers must supply their re-seller's certificate in order to be exempt from local Sales Tax.

Returns

Products purchased directly from the Cherner Chair Company can only be returned if they are damaged in transit or are deemed by the Cherner Chair Company to have a manufacturing defect. Returns must be pre-authorized by calling 01.203.894.4702 and must be re-packed in their original shipping materials. Customers wishing to return products which have not been damaged or are not defective are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. Custom orders and upholstered furniture are not returnable. Freight for returns will be the customer's responsibility unless the products have been damaged in transit or have a manufacturing defect. Customer should inspect items immediately upon delivery and report any issues to our toll free number 1.866.243.7637. Claims received after 30 days of delivery will not and cannot be processed.

Order cancellation

Orders can be cancelled within 2 weeks of the order date without penalty. Cancellations made after 2 weeks are subject to a 25% cancellation and restocking fee.

Trade Sales:

Trade professionals must provide Cherner Chair with a re-seller's certificate, Tax Id number or proof of membership in a professional organization (AIA, ASID, etc.) in order to qualify for any trade discounts.

Deliveries:

Residential Delivery - Tables

Unless otherwise requested, Cherner Chair uses "White Glove Service" for all 72"/80"/84" tables shipped anywhere in the US. The freight carrier will arrange a date and time specific delivery and will bring the tables inside of residences.

Common Carrier (Roadway, FedEx Freight) is use for all 40/48" Round tables. This is not white glove service and will require customer assembly unless specifically requested by the customer

Chairs and Stools

Standard Ground service (DHL, UPS or FedEx) is used for the delivery of all chairs and stools in the continental US. No time or date specific deliveries unless specifically requested by the customer at an additional charge. Larger orders may be shipped using other freight carriers. Please contact us for a freight quote on orders of 25 or more chairs.
